To meet rising demand – and to increase control of the supply chain and improve price competitiveness – in late 2019, JAT acquired the Australian Natural Milk Association Pty Ltd (ANMA), a state-of-the-art dry blending manufacturing facility in Melbourne. ANMA is one of only 15 manufacturing facilities in Australia approved by the Chinese government for export of infant formula to Mainland China.
In 2020, JAT expanded the production capacity of the manufacturing plant through the installation of new product lines and the factory now boasts the latest equipment for blending and packaging of milk powder-based products.
JAT’s products manufactured at ANMA include cow, goat and camel milk powder- based formulations for the whole family, from infants to the elderly. The products are innovative and science-based and specifically designed to support a healthy immune and gut system.
JAT has a dedicated product development team based at ANMA and the company has also commissioned Sydney University to assist with research for new product development.
