On 20 July 2023, the Australian Consulate-General in Chengdu held reception to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Australian Consulate-General in Chengdu. Important figures from the Chinese and Australian economic, cultural, and trade sectors attended the event together to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Australian Consulate-General in Chengdu.
Ms. Adelle Neary, Consul General of Australia in Chengdu, opened the event and expressed a warm welcome to the guests. Mr. Fu Guanhan, Australian Ambassador to China, attended the event and delivered a speech, he reviewed the efforts and achievements made by the Australian Consulate-General in Chengdu for the friendship and exchange between Australia and China in the past 10 years since its establishment, and expressed his gratitude to all the partners for their support and contribution to the promotion of Australia-China friendship and cooperation in the past years.
